Maisons Usinées Confort Design inc. was founded in November 2003, following the association of two experienced businessmen, namely Mr. Michel Mathon, BAA and Mr. Sylvain Nadeau, CPA, CMA, MBA. The company started off with a history of knowledge, Mr. Mathon being a 3rd generation builder and president of Habitations Germat, a major player on the North Shore in the residential construction sector, for several years.
The two entrepreneurs established their head office at their factory on Sicard Street in Mascouche in 2004 where they shared the premises of more than 60,000 square feet with their sister companies Timber Block and Habitations Germat. It thus benefits from an excellent synergy in terms of the use of the premises, human resources and purchasing power, which allows it to be very competitive in terms of costs.
From the outset, Confort Design has established itself as a leader in the modular, prefabricated, custom home sector with its sophisticated constructions with unparalleled energy efficiency. The high customer satisfaction rate, based on impeccable customer service, will allow the company to ensure constant progress through time.
Over the years, the company has established joint sale points (with model homes) with its sister company Timber Block in Mascouche, Mirabel and Granby near highways 25, 15 and 10 respectively.
Confort Design holds a general contractor’s license and has about thirty employees.
